I re-opened my facebook. I am so weak! Hahaha

Anyway, some recent things that have been going on. I'm taking 2 shooting courses this term. Portfolio development and Fashion Photography. Both of them are pretty intense, exciting, interested and challenging. ESPECIALLY the fashion one. It's pretty fast-paced too. I really love the fashion one because of my professor's excitement and energy. He really wants us to work our hardest and to the best of our abilities to really create a portfolio that can knock everyone elses' out of the park. It's a little stressful and tough, but I really do hope to manage to pump out a few awesome pieces to add to my portfolio. Basically our lectures are on Monday, and our crits are on Friday, so we generally have about a week to shoot, edit and process. I also like the fact that he brings in guest lecturers from the field to give us a little taste of the real world. As for portfolio development, basically we gather in groups and help each other pick and choose pieces for our portfolio that we need to have by the end of our college careers. Critique is good, constructive and interesting. I also really like looking at other people's work. It's a great way to develop ideas for myself and a great way to learn from other people's mistakes and achievements. My 3rd class that I'm taking this last term is Image Retouching/Restoration... basically another Photoshop course. It's awesome- I love it, there's a lot to learn.. and I'm willing!
