Most Random Fashion Shoot

Tuesday, April 20, 2010 | |

So I've been shooting freelance, and one of the places that I've ventured to was this store on 7th ave + 42nd st called, "New York Look". I was only suppose to be in there to take a few interior shots and then call it a day, but the owner decided to create his own little fashion show. He took one of his sales associates to model the clothing for us (she is a formal model from LA) and he did this whole show for us. It was pretty fun, I mean I was pretty free that morning, so I humored him. He LOVED it. He told me he hasn't been able to style clothing since 20+years prior! So, I decided to make the old man, a happy man.

I don't like people's heads.

Update: I was looking back at my older entries, and I noticed that I typed a lot more back then than I do now. So I decided I would write a little bit about what is going on. Since moving back to New York, I've been having a blast. I meet new people almost every week, I haven't been lacking in exciting things to attend, and life is busy, stressful- yet I love every minute of it. It's funny how much has changed in my life since my first entry in this blog back in 2008! I am now a graduate, doing something that I honestly love- and even though the future is daunting and unknown- I don't seem to be worrying that much at all right now.

So, yeah, that's about it.

Went to go shoot a little event at Smith Barney tonight- I met Leon (??) from the Jets. I don't know, I think I'm just name-dropping to sound cool... but I really am not. Okay good night all!

Styleta Photo-Shoot

Tuesday, April 6, 2010 | |

Last weekend I did a photoshoot for a Non-Profit Organization called: Styleta. Basically, what they do is they take donated designer clothing, sell it on their website then send all the proceeds to various charities. We shot the editorial, using all of the clothing that was donated, at an apartment on 3rd ave, then made our way down around to Grammercy Park and Union Square.

Check out some of my favorite shots from the editorial shoots.
(Thanks to my beautiful, lovely, most patient models: Alice, Hayley, Michelle and Ingrid, and Stylist: Miss Iris Lam)
